Achates Community
A new platform for cultural sector income generation professionals offering support and learning, a leadership programme and community spaces, Achates Community is a revolution in cultural sector support.
Launching in October 2024, Achates Community is a new affordable digital platform where you can access webinars detailing best practise approaches using Achates’ purpose designed tools and resources to support and develop new skills in every area needed to grow contributed and new income generation sources.
With three pillars of support:
– Support and Learning: Access 50+ masterclasses offering step-by-step support and learning with tools and associated live webinars, covering every aspect of income generation.
– The Purposeful Leader leadership programme: Tune in to monthly live webinars equipping participants with the practical tools and expertise to lead with purpose. More details on The Purposeful Leader programme here.
– Community and Networking Spaces: Engage with a vibrant community of cultural sector professionals to discuss the issues of the day.
At Achates, we always want to ensure that our services are equitable, so our Bursary programme is specifically aimed at those who identify as having a protected characteristic or are from a lower socio-economic background, with 20 places ring-fenced for England and 10 each respectively for Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
The first round of the Achates Community Bursary winners have now been announced. See the list of those awarded Bursaries here. A second round is now open for the remaining spaces in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. You can apply for round two of the Bursary programme here.
The closing date for 2nd round applications is 6pm, Monday 23rd September.
Joining the Achates Community costs £50 p/month for a minimum 12 month subscription or £500 upfront annual payment. To get access to Achates Community you will need to sign up to our platform and enter your payment details. Payment will not be taken until your free 3-month trial ends (if applicable). We will remind you when your trial is due to come to an end and you can cancel within 14 days of your first payment.
