Case study:Achates develops Strategy: Chapter Arts Centre
Having navigated recent challenges including COVID and the departure of its longstanding Director, Achates worked with the team at Chapter to explore its future and to reinvigorate the role and impact of the organisation in its community. Achates supported them in developing a new audience informed Business Plan reflecting the interests and priorities of the breadth of its communities. In order to do this, Achates helped Chapter develop its organisational purpose; priority audiences; types of value (impact) created; and a narrative summary of its Theory of Change clearly, as an outcome of consulting with its audiences. A series of World Café workshops helped ensure that an audience informed approach was embedded in the new Business Plan through consultation. The final Business Plan covered the 3-year period of 2023/2024 – 2025/2026.
